Hi I’m LexV, the creator of MyHealthStruggles.com. I have created this website to fulfill my own need to express and talk to other people who are dealing with serious health issues and the things we have to go through as patients during the process.

I’m looking to create a completely new portal open to people and their families, who are dealing with diseases and other health issues. In my six years of dealing with pancreatitis, I have met more than nine specialists and been through countless tests and recommendations.

I call this website myhealthstruggles.com, because the process of getting treated properly and offered honest advice has been a long and painful struggle for myself. I am assuming that people who have other health problems are going through similar experiences. I have not found a suitable website where I wanted to share my experiences on. I guess I was looking for a website built by someone who is actually going through a health problem, not a site that is just there to make money for the webmaster.

Please register yourself as a member and begin contributing to this site. I want people to offer their honest opinions on their condition, so that people who stop by can truly benefit from your opinions.

Lastly, please tell your friends who are going through their own health struggles about our site, so that we grow and help as many people as possible. I believe that we that people need to share our knowledge amongst each other, because it does not seem that doctors have our best interests in mind anymore; maybe some still do, and we would like to hear about them.

I think we are in a new era, and we should all look into researching what other people are saying about their health problems, and use that research to help us make better decisions for our own care. I myself have benefited greatly so far from doing my own research, but the process was very long, and spread among dozens of websites. Let’s all meet here and share our health struggles together, so that one day we can only look here for what real people are saying about health problems.
